Super Massive Comics
Super Massive Comics was a long form personal project of mine that I worked on throughout 2022. Starting off as making a comic for a final college project, it eventually evolved into me creating an entire fictional comic book company and building the worlds, characters, and graphics for it.
The comic began as a project for my BFA showcase my senior year of college, but the characters and ideas the comic was based on have been bouncing around in my head for over a decade now. I finally got a chance to utilize these characters with this project and It was a lot of fun.
After the show was over I found myself wanting to do more with the concept of making my own comics, so just a few weeks later I began to expand upon the concepts I had introduced with the BFA show. Eventually making my own fictional comic book company to pen any future ideas under: Super Massive Comics. While the project at this point only involves the creation of covers (something I felt was needing of improvement for the original comic) it is my intention to eventually make full comics out of these as well.
The logo and graphics from Super Massive Comics were largely inspired by the graphics work being done at Marvel and DC right now.
